Leak Detection

Detect leaks before they find your critical infrastructure

Water and uptime don’t mix. In a data centre, a small leak under a raised floor or in a ceiling void can run unnoticed until it reaches power or IT equipment, and by then the cost is measured in downtime, not just repairs. Manotherm supplies and installs proven leak detection systems that raise the alarm at the first drop.

Andel Floodline® and Floodline Ranger® for data centres and plant rooms

  • Zonal point sensors plus distance-measuring sensor cable, laid beneath raised floors, around CRAC and CRAH units, along chilled-water pipework and in drip trays and plant rooms
  • Floodline Ranger monitors up to 1,500 metres of cable from a single panel and shows how far along the cable the leak is, so your team goes straight to the source
  • Alarms trigger audio and visual warnings, notify the BMS and can close automatic shut-off valves
  • Supports the environmental monitoring resilience that standards such as EN 50600 expect of modern data centres
  • Also protects plant rooms, warehouses, libraries and heritage buildings

Teknovis3 ALMA for the leaks you can’t see

  • On insulated pipework, especially external runs sealed under lagging and metal cladding, a leak can go unseen for months
  • Hidden leaks quietly waste energy, corrode the pipe and saturate the insulation
  • ALMA (Automatic Leak Monitoring Alarm) from Teknovis3 is installed beneath the lagging and cladding, at the pipe itself
  • Detects escaping liquid the moment it appears, turning an invisible problem into an immediate, located alert

Why early detection pays

  • Minutes matter: an early alarm is the difference between wiping out a drip tray and explaining an outage
  • A detection system costs a fraction of a single incident
  • Floodline is zonal and modular, so coverage can grow as the site does

Surveyed and installed by Manotherm

  • Site survey and sensor layout design
  • Installation and commissioning of the complete system: panels, sensing cable, point sensors, shut-off valves and BMS integration
  • Service and support thereafter
