The MDD 256 Digital Gas detection
system is a micro-processor controlled
module that was built to oversee digital
gas detection.
It is designed to work with a range of detectors
and control modules using RS485.
The Digital Gas detection system periodically
checks detectors within the network.
In the event of pre-set gas concentration levels
being exceeded:
• the opto-acoustic alarm turns on.
• the output relays become active.
• any attached signalling devices (MDD-L32T) are
activated.
• the alarm information is via RS485 (MODBUS RTU
protocol) on request.
