Self-acting pressure reducers are simple control valves offering accurate
control while being easy to install and maintain. They control the pressure
downstream of the valve without requiring pneumatic or electrical control elements.
The pressure reducing valve DM 152V is a diaphragm-controlled, springloaded proportional valve that is primarily used for hygiene applications in
the food processing and pharmaceutical industries. The diaphragm is made
of EPDM which renders it steamproof up to 180 °C. The valve cone is fittedwith a soft seal. No external sense line is required.
